The Regence Foundation was established as a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code in late 2007, with the first grant activity taking place in first quarter of 2008. As Regence's corporate foundation, The Regence Foundation was created to serve as the primary vehicle for philanthropic contributions across our four-state region: Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah. We carefully research projects and award grants as part of our two funding tracks: Building Healthier Communities and Sojourns (end-of-life care).
