Kerry E. Barnett

Kerry provides strategic direction for communications, public policy and public affairs, human resources, real estate and facilities, and ethics and compliance for Regence and its member Plans in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. He is the chief compliance officer and the chief legal officer and oversees legal functions of the company.
Kerry has held senior executive positions with ODS Health Plans, HealthFirst Medical Group, and served Oregon as the insurance commissioner and as the governor's legal counsel and senior policy advisor.
He sits on the Public Policy Committee and on the Strategic Communications Advisory Council of America's Health Insurance Plans. He also serves on the Legal Division Co-op Board of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
Kerry received his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Rochester and received his law degree from Yale Law School.
