John Cimral
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
John leads strategic direction for information technology services and aligns the day-to-day operations of the IT Services division with overall Regence business direction and priorities. He is responsible for ensuring Regence's technology systems adapt to a consumer-driven marketplace.
He joined Regence in 2011 and has nearly 25 years experience in building and growing successful technology businesses, including Symantec's Norton Antivirus security products. He was the CEO of ProSight, a computer software company.
He has been involved in Software Association of Oregon for a decade, more than half of that as its chair.
A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, John served in the Army for 12 years, reaching the rank of major. While in the Army, he earned graduate degrees in computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in human resource management from Pepperdine University.
John and his family live in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
