Peggy Maguire
Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the President
Peggy serves as a member of the Strategic Planning Group, where she directs, monitors and contributes to special projects and strategic initiatives. She is responsible for driving focused execution of company objectives among other members of the senior leadership team. She supports the CEO's involvement in community and other initiatives and provides leadership and support with regard to the administration of the office of the President. Peggy also chairs the company's Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
She joined Regence in 1997 as an associate general counsel and has held several posts, including director of Litigation & Risk Management and vice president, Legal Services, before being promoted to her current position in 2008.
Before joining Regence, Peggy worked as an attorney at Garvey Schubert & Barer, was an extern to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (Judge Skopil) and a law clerk in the Office of the Washington Attorney General.
Peggy has been very active in her profession and her community, and her current civic involvement includes serving as a member of The Dougy Center board of directors and as the president-elect of the National Charity League, Oregon Rose Chapter.
She received her Bachelor's degree in philosophy and anthropology from Lawrence University and her law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
