Mohan guides the Innovation Force (IF) as it inspires ideas from a variety of sources, selecting execution-focused concepts and starting them on the path to new businesses or concepts.
Mohan joined Regence in 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Executive accountable for product development, brand management, consumer-directed health systems/e-business, business intelligence and corporate performance management/planning for all four health plans.
Before joining Regence, Mohan founded venture and consulting firms, and held chief executive positions with ABC Technologies and ProTool, Inc. He has been an adjunct professor of business at Kellogg School of Management and authored the books Essentials of Balanced Scorecard and Activity-Based Information Systems: An Executive's Guide to Implementation.
Mohan has served the nation in several capacities. He has been a member of the Armed Services Interest Group on Cost and Performance Management and the Government's Committee on Performance and Accountability for the State of Oregon. He has been called by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to serve on the Chronic Care Workgroup.
Mohan holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and business, and a master's degree in computer and information sciences from the University of Oregon. He has accreditation for advanced management college with Stanford University.
