Michele: Keeping it fresh and getting fit


In January, I decided to make a lifestyle change and committed to eating primarily fresh, non-processed foods and to exercising every day for 30–60 minutes. Thus far, I am 74 days into my program with no lapses. I feel healthier and more fit. I am sleeping better and have really enjoyed preparing, cooking and eating different foods that weren’t always in my diet before. One of the primary changes I’ve made, which is helping me save money as well as my health, has been moving to no soda pop, fast food or eating out at restaurants.

The bottom line is I’m feeling good and making progress with no pressure for perfection inhibiting or sabotaging me as I work to get healthier and more fit.
