Key product enhancements are coming in 2026

As we prepare for 2026, Regence is committed to delivering innovative solutions that help your organization manage health care costs while improving employee health and well-being.

Here are the important product updates coming Jan. 1, 2026.

Fully insured groups of 1-50

  • Standardized dental rates Regence Dental will see a change in rating methodology to standardize rates for all dental plans. This change is expected to bring several benefits to groups, including:

    • Reduced time from inquiry to quote delivery
    • Stability in financial planning
    • Simplified dental quoting, making it easier to provide accurate and competitive quotes quickly
  • Vision improvements Groups will see increased vision allowances on frames and contacts across all vision plans. The Regence Vision network will be expanding to include Pearle Vision and Eyemart Express in the approved wholesale/retail vendor list.

  • Embedded EAP services Employees will receive embedded access to four sessions per incident. Beyond confidential counseling for behavioral health support, groups also have access to a wide range of family, financial and legal support services, including:

    • Local resources for parenting, adoption, education/college planning, and adult and elder care
    • Legal support with in-house attorneys across family law, identify theft, custody, real estate and more
    • Consultations over the phone with in-house financial experts for help with budgeting, debt counseling and more

      (EAP services excluded across Regence BolsterCare™ and non-marketed products. EAP services are provided by ComPsych®.)

  • Embedded virtual muscle and joint support Help your employees improve functionality and reduce pain in joints, spine and muscles. The personalized virtual exercise program supports active lifestyles and reduces costs. Based on their health conditions, they may have access to a customized care plan, including guided exercise therapy, one-on-one video coaching with a care team, curated health education and behavior-change support. (Excluded on BolsterCare™, CareVia products and non-marketed products.)

  • Well-being program enhancements Employees and their eligible spouses/domestic partners can continue to earn up to $150 through Regence Empower® when they get certain preventive care screenings and exams. (Excludes BolsterCare™ and Standard plans). Additional activities have been added to improve member engagement.

Fully insured groups of 51+

  • HSAPlus™ Regence will introduce HSAPlus—a comprehensive suite of educational tools, requiring employer contribution, and an opportunity for a premium credit. This innovative approach turns traditional health savings accounts from passive financial tools into active drivers of financial wellness and informed health care decision-making. Premium credit is available to new groups and existing groups adopting HSA plans for the first time, while educational tools are available to existing groups that contribute to their employees’ HSAs.

Fully insured groups of 51+ and ASO groups

  • Enhanced dental network Regence Dental will launch our new Preferred/ValueCare Dental Network, featuring deeply discounted rates through a curated provider network. This network delivers comprehensive PPO-style benefits at more affordable rates. New ValueCare plans mirror existing Expressions plan designs while leveraging our improved Preferred/ValueCare Network for greater value.
  • Vision improvements The VSP Premier Edge Promise offers members a replacement within 12 months if their Featured Frame Brand selection is accidentally broken or damaged at no cost (processing fee applies). This includes new exam and replacement lenses if their prescription changes within 12 months, as well as the option to replace their Featured Frame Brand selection within 100 days of purchase if they don’t love them. We have also increased the allowance on frames and contact lenses.
  • Individualized Medication Support (IMS) IMS is an integrated program between Care Management and Pharmacy that incorporates pharmacy and medical management to identify complex, rare and high-value savings opportunities. This program improves the member experience by showing them alternative treatments at a lower cost without having to sacrifice quality.

All groups

  • Provider Performance Ratings Our enhanced provider search tool makes it easier to identify high-performing in-network physicians, making it easier for members to choose providers with confidence. Ratings are based on objective, third-party data and analytics as well as health plan claims data, ensuring ratings are unbiased and reflect each physician’s overall performance. Ratings are reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
