Look for the new Audit Status field on small and midsize opportunities in Producer Center

Have you ever wanted to check the status of an audit for one of your small or midsize groups? To make doing business with us easier, we’re now displaying the group audit status on the opportunity in Producer Center. The new Audit Status field is in the upper right corner where Proposed Effective Date and Opportunity Status are located.

To make it easy to see the audit status of all your small and midsize renewals in one view, we created a new Group – Audit Status list view and added the status to the Renewal Group Opportunity Next 120 Days view.

Here’s what each Group – Audit Status level means:

  • Not Started: The renewal is flagged for audit but hasn’t begun yet. This status may show for several months. We typically begin audits four and a half to five months prior to the renewal date.
  • In Progress: The audit process has begun.
  • Waiting for Response: We emailed the group a request for information (mailed, if no email address is on file) and are waiting for a response. Producers are copied on the information request emails.
  • Under Review: We’re reviewing the received information.
  • Completed – Passed: The group passed the audit.
  • Completed – Failed: The group has failed the audit and won’t be renewed. The status covers three general scenarios: 1) the group failed the audit for eligibility or participation, 2) we didn’t receive any response to our audit request, or 3) we didn’t receive enough information to complete the audit.
  • Cancelled: The audit was cancelled.
  • If the status field is blank, there’s no audit record for the opportunity.

Here are some helpful hints to get the best out of the list views:
The status text may be clipped, causing only a part of it to be visible in a column. It’s important that you see the full text, especially for Completed – Passed and Completed – Failed. To see the full status, you can:

  • Hover over the field to see the full text
  • Change the way the text displays by clicking the down arrow in the Audit Status column header and switching it from Clip text to Wrap text
  • Widen the column by clicking and dragging the right side to the right
  • Navigate to the opportunity to check the status
