New medication home delivery option for self-funded groups

We’re excited to offer Amazon Pharmacy with MedsYourWay, a new home-delivery option for members of self-funded groups. Groups with effective dates beginning July 1, 2022, will be able to choose either Amazon Pharmacy with MedsYourWay or Express Scripts Pharmacy as their preferred home-delivery pharmacy.

While Amazon Pharmacy was already in our retail network, Amazon Pharmacy with MedsYourWay provides the added benefit of built-in discount card pricing.

Before purchasing a prescription, members will see two prices to choose from: their insurance cost-share price—which factors in copays, coinsurance, and deductibles—and the MedsYourWay discount card price. Regardless of which price they choose, all covered purchases count toward their deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.

In addition, Amazon Pharmacy with MedsYourWay offers the following:

It’s user-friendly, offering a digital shopping experience as easy as other Amazon.com purchases. An employee-focused onboarding process includes employee data pre-populated to save time during account setup, as well as package tracking from checkout to delivery.
It’s cost-effective, with market-competitive pricing, 90-day prescription fills and free two-day shipping for Amazon Prime members (five-day shipping for non-Prime members).
Home delivery and 90-day supplies (instead of 30) can improve adherence, resulting in better health outcomes.
