Oregon and Clark County Medicare Supplement (Medigap) renewal updates

The Department of Insurance has approved an 11% rate increase for Oregon Medicare Supplement Plan G and a 9% increase for all other (including 1990 standard and pre-standard) Medicare Supplement plans. A 9% rate increase will also apply to all Medicare Supplement plans in Clark County, except for pre-standardized plans, which will not see an increase.

Additionally, the premium for the dental, vision and hearing (DVH) optional benefit rider, available for Oregon Medicare Supplement plans, is increasing from $47 to $49 per month.

The new rates will be effective on members’ Jan. 1 plan renewal date. Members who enrolled in an Oregon Medicare Supplement plan with an effective date of Jan. 1, 2022, or later will see the rate change on their plan’s anniversary date rather than on Jan. 1. (Does not apply to Clark County plans.)

We will mail Notice of Rate Change (NORC) letters to members the month before their plan’s renewal date.

We will mail Notice of Change (NOC) letters by Dec. 1, 2025, for Jan. 1, 2026, effective dates.
